The Annual General Body Meeting 2023 of Karnataka ICSE Schools’ Association (KISA) was held on 28 th June, 2023 at 10.30 AM in St. Francis De Sales Public School, ICSE & ISC, Electronic City, Bengaluru.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Benny Kuriakose, the President of KISA, Mrs. Kavitha B. V, the Vice – President, Dr. Gayethri Devi, Secretary, Br. Antony D. Vayalil, Treasurer, all the Executive Committee members and around 250 Principals of ICSE schools from all over Karnataka.

The event commenced with a prayer song and an invocation dance by the students of host school. To observe ‘World Yoga Day,’ a yoga session was held for the Principals by Mr. Aryansh Aum Bisht. He demonstrated few yoga poses and spoke on how these simple yoga poses could help in managing stress and anxiety.

The Principal of St. Francis De Sales Public School, ICSE & ISC, Rev. Fr. Binoy, accorded a warm welcome to all the Executive Committee members and invitees. An inaugural address was delivered to the member schools by Dr. Benny Kuriakose, the President of KISA. He also presented a brief synopsis of all the activities undertaken by KISA.

Mr. Sreenivasa from Nadamaya Academy presented an intriguing seminar on the topic ‘Music and Teaching’ a blended approach. He presented an informative session on how integrating different music traditions in the classroom can enrich learning. Guest Speaker Dr. Senthil Kumar A, Chief Mentor & Director, Excel One, spoke on the topic ‘Making our schools globally competitive.’

Dr. Gayethri Devi, the Secretary, briefed all the members regarding matters pertaining to CISCE, KISA Competitions and ASISC National events. KISA Executive Council members discussed all the concerns and endeavours of the Association.

As the meeting inched towards conclusion, Dr. Gayethri Devi, in her words of gratitude thanked all the members who made it to the meeting and contributed to its success. She conveyed her eloquent praise and appreciation to the host school for the excellent arrangements done for the meeting. The mega event concluded at 14.30 hrs with the National Anthem.
