‘Ignite Your Path’

SFS Public School ICSE & ISC celebrated the inaugural ceremony of the Academic Year 2023-24, 'Pallav' - Ignite Your Path on 29th May, 2023. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Joshy, the Manager of SFS Group of Institutions and Parish Priest, SFS Church, as the Chief Guest. The guests of honour were Rev. Dr. Binu, Principal of SFS Degree College and Rev. Fr. Doraiswamy, Assistant Parish Priest, SFS Church, Hebbagodi.

The event commenced with a traditional welcome and the band group escorting the dignitaries towards the stage. This occasion was made even more special as Rev. Fr. Joshy introduced the newly appointed principal, Rev. Fr. Binoy and felicitated him symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the school's journey. The programme began with a soulful prayer song thereafter welcome speech followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The school premises were blessed by the priests, adding an aura of divine grace. Students had the honour of reading excerpts from the holy scriptures including The Bible, The Bhagavad Gita, and The Holy Quran, further emphasizing the values of harmony and respect for all faiths.

A highlight of the event was the felicitation of the ICSE X and ISC XII board examination toppers, who were recognized for their outstanding achievements and offered valuable insights and tips to fellow students on exam preparation.

The celebration continued with vibrant dance performances which infused the atmosphere with colors and joy. In their addresses to the students, both Rev. Fr. Joshy and Rev. Fr. Binoy shared words of wisdom and motivation, inspiring the young minds to strive for excellence ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. The programme concluded with the principal expressing gratitude and felicitating the dignitaries for their presence and support. A heartfelt vote of thanks was extended to all those who contributed to the success of 'Pallav' and the beginning of a new academic year filled with hope, learning, and growth.
