‘Unfading Memories’

On bright and beautiful morning of 24 th June, 2023, the entire family of SFS Public School ICSE and ISC wistfully prepared themselves to bid a sentimental farewell, SAYONARA ‘Unfading Memories’ to its beloved former Principal, Rev. Fr. A. Jabamalai.

Escorted by the school band, NCC cadets and a squad of adoring flower girls the former Principal Rev. Fr. A Jabamalai was extended a regal welcome. The choir created the perfect ambience by invoking the presence of God with their soothing and refreshing voices. Rev. Fr. Joshy, the Manager and Rev. Fr. Binu, the Superior in their respective addresses highlighted the myriad contributions Rev. Fr Jabamalai made to the school during his stay and his role in moulding and shaping the lives of students. It was followed by an ethereal and hypnotic dance performed by a proficient troupe of dancers. The current Principal Rev. Fr. Binoy offered his appreciation to Rev. Fr. A. Jabamalai for the incredible positive development he helped the school undergo. The staff representative Ms. Meenatchi thanked the former principal for his role in helping the teachers build rapport and for offering commendable support under all circumstances. The dancers entertained the crowd with an electric dance performance that left everyone energised and invigorated. Dia Pant, Senior Head Girl offered her profound gratitude for the former principal’s patience, dedication and everlasting encouragement in both academic and co-curricular activities. The teachers then bid an emotional and grateful goodbye to the former principal with a song of gratitude. The address by Rev. Fr. A Jabamalai saw him battling through a rollercoaster of powerful emotions and yet managed to inspire and motivate both the teachers and students. The former principal later joined the reminiscent crowd acknowledging them by offering warm smiles, encouraging words and comforting handshakes. It was truly a sight to behold the outpouring of love, praise and gratitude for Rev. Fr. Jabamalai but even so mere words could not suffice to encapsulate the achievements and enhancement the school accomplished under his tremendous tenure.
