Principal's Day and Christmas Celebration

As the morning of December 23rd unfolded, the air brimmed with excitement and anticipation at St. Francis De Sales Public School, marking not only the imminent Christmas celebration but also Principal’s Day, marking the 50th birthday of the esteemed Principal, Rev. Fr. Binoy. The day commenced with a gentle warmth in the air, setting the stage for what promised to be a day filled with joy and festive merriment. The atmosphere, adorned with Christmas decorations and chiming bells, was enchanting, creating a delightful fusion of Christmas cheer and reverence for the milestone birthday celebration of Rev. Fr. Binoy.

The celebration began with a warm welcome extended to dignitaries, esteemed guests, parents, teachers, and the students. The Manager of SFS Group of Institutions, Rev. Fr. Joshy, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Rev. Fr. Majish Mathew, Principal of SFS High School, was the Guest of Honour. The event initiated with the Headboy and Headgirl of the school recounting the early life of Rev. Fr. Binoy, highlighting his dedicated service as a priest. The audience gained insight into the exemplary life of the principal, fostering an atmosphere of admiration and gratitude. Rev. Fr. Joshy took the stage to address the audience, extending heartfelt Christmas wishes and sharing warm words about Rev. Fr. Binoy on his 50th birthday. His words resonated with the spirit of the occasion, nurturing a sense of community and celebration. A traditional cake-cutting ceremony ensued, symbolizing the culmination of the principal's 50 years of life and service. The moment was marked with cheers, applause, and an overwhelming sense of unity among the attendees.

The students of Grade I presented a captivating skit depicting the nativity scene, adding a touch of spiritual significance to the celebration. This was followed by lively Christmas dances and rhythmic carol singing, filling the air with the infectious joy of the season.

The entire program was impeccably hosted by the students of Grade VIII and Grade I, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm. The amalgamation of the Christmas celebration and Principal’s Day celebration created an enchanting atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
