The farewell event for the Grade X students of St Francis De Sales Public School ICSE and ISC, held on 10 th February, 2024 left a profound and emotional impact on everyone present, leaving behind indelible memories for years to come.

The Grade X students made a grand entry, accompanied by the dignitaries of the event, as well as the teachers and the marching band group. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Philip Thomas, Rector at Suvidya College and Guest of Honour Rev. Fr. Joshy, the Manager of SFS Group of Institutions.

The programme began with a zealous introduction followed by a devotional prayer dance and a warm welcome speech. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolized the spark of inspiration, signifying the commencement of a promising journey for the outgoing batch. The lighting of the candle followed by the oath taking ceremony reinforced the significance of the occasion depicting the transition to new and valuable phases in the graduates’ lives. The dignitaries of the day, Rev. Fr. Philip Thomas, and Rev. Fr. Joshy delivered inspiring speeches that encouraged the students to pursue their aspirations wholeheartedly. They offered their blessings and well-wishes, for the students' endeavours as they embark on their respective journeys. A string of nostalgia wrapped around the campus as Mrs. Geethika, the representative of the Class Teachers of Grade X, shared her thoughts. Emotions permeated the gathering as outgoing batch representatives, Mystica Lijo and Harshit B. P., expressed their lovely memories and reflected on their wonderful journey at SFS. The Grade IX students sang a harmonious remix of a melodious song, imbuing the atmosphere with bittersweet emotions. The graduates were gifted with mementos as a token of remembrance of their alma mater.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort that made the farewell memorable. A photo shoot session was also held to capture this beautiful moment together. A fellowship meal was arranged after the event giving a platform to a perfect get together. The farewell was an impeccable blend of emotions, music, speeches and shared moments, making it one of the best experiences for the Class of 2024 to cherish at SFS Public School ICSE and ISC.
