Graduation Day is a key milestone in a student’s life. It’s a time of celebration, reflection, and anticipation for the future.

On Saturday, 25th January 2025, SFS Public School ICSE & ISC organized Graduation Day 2024-25 under the theme ‘Celebrating Memories and Milestones.’ The event was hosted by students of Grade IX A and IX C under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Binoy, the Principal.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Thimappa Hegde, Director of Narayana Institute of Neurosciences, is a distinguished neurosurgeon known for his expertise in diagnosis and compassionate care. It was a moment of pride to have Dr. Samhitha Manvi, as the Guest of Honour, a proud Desalite and an alumni of the 2016 batch, currently working as a Medical Content Developer at India’s first MED-Ed Tech Academy, Global Healthcare Academy. To honour the graduands, Rev. Fr. Staney, Principal of SFS PU College, was invited as a special guest.
The school band extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, coordinators, students of the Class of 2025, and class teachers of Grade X. The program commenced with an invocation dance to seek divine blessings. To mark the auspicious beginning, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed, symbolizing the light of knowledge and the bright future envisioned for the students. Rev. Fr. Binoy lit the first candle, signifying the essence of the event.
The students then took the Graduation Oath, pledging to uphold the values instilled in them. The audience was deeply inspired by the motivational speeches delivered by Dr. Thimappa Hegde and Dr. Samhitha Manvi, which encouraged the graduands to strive for excellence.
The graduands were awarded certificates as a token of their accomplishment. Mrs. Sangeetha Sharma, on behalf of all teachers, addressed the Class of 2025, offering words of encouragement and best wishes. Following this, student representative Surya, Alokika Mishra, Nandeesh, and Richitha shared their cherished memories and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their teachers.
As a token of appreciation, Rev. Fr. Binoy honoured the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour with a shawl and memento. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, followed by a sumptuous meal served to everyone
