St. Francis Public School believes that education extends beyond textbooks,
emphasizing the importance of sunshine, freedom, and playtime for children, with this
philosophy, a class picnic was organized for the kindergarten students of St. Francis
De Sales Public School on February 17, 2024, at Fun World Amusement Park in
Bangalore.
A total of 274 students from Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG, accompanied by 27 teachers
and 14 support staff, embarked on the excursion. Departing at 9:30 am, we arrived at
Fun World at 11 a.m. The journey was filled with cheerful songs and dances,
reflecting the excitement of the students.
There were 16 classes, each of which was further divided into groups, with each group
consisting of two classes. A designated team leader supervised each group, ensuring
the safety of the students and facilitating their enjoyment of the various amusement
park rides, including Bungee jumping, a Mini roller coaster, Toy train, Merry-go-
round, and more. The atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm as the students revealed in
the experiences.
Lunch was served at 12:30 pm, with a platter of delicious and hygienic delicacies.
Post-lunch, accompanied by their respective class teachers and team leaders, the
students embarked on water rides such as the lazy river, rain dance, and wave pool,
and were quite reluctant to leave the pool as they were thoroughly enjoying the
pleasant weather and exhilarating activities.
At 4 pm, snacks and juice were provided to rejuvenate the students and staff.
Subsequently, at 5 pm, the children boarded the bus and returned to the school
premises by 6 pm. Despite their fatigue, the students radiated enthusiasm and
happiness, concluding the day on a joyous note. It was indeed a memorable trip for
both the students and the staff members, providing a rejuvenating experience for all
involved
