Melange is an event which gives a platform to the young Desalites to represent their talents in various field. It not only helps the participants to show their abilities but also motivates other students to exhibit their hidden potential.

Melange 2023-24 ‘Compete, Create and Celebrate’ was the magnificent event held on 30 th June, 2023 at the school premises of SFS Public School by the students of Grade VI A, VI B, VI C and VI D under the guidance of their class teachers.

Melange 2023-24, was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Jose, Professor, Suvidya College. The competition was held among the students of four Houses, Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, and Venus. The students participated enthusiastically in this event and displayed their superb flair and abilities to excel in whatever they did. The carnival included both cultural and literary events. Group Dance, Solo dance, Solo song, Debate, Mime, Elocution, Recitation, Extempore and Choral Recitation were among the few events conducted. Melange 2023-24 came to its climax on 1 st July 2023, with prize distribution followed by declaration of Winner and Runner up of Melange 2023-24. It was bagged by Saturn and Neptune House respectively.

Rev. Fr. Binoy, the Principal appreciated and congratulated all the students. He also appreciated the tireless contribution and involvement of all the house animators, teachers, PE teachers and non-teaching staff. At the end of the closing ceremony vote of thanks was proposed for the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Majish, Principal of SFS High School, the Special Invitees, Rev. Fr Robin, Administrator of SFS Degree College and Mrs. Manasa Holla, a well-known south Indian playback singer who flabbergasted the audience with her melodious songs. Thereafter, the Principal declared the Melange Meet Closed for the academic year 2023-24 and felicitated the guests for gracing the occasion. The function concluded with National Anthem.
