A wave of excitement and joy surrounded the atmosphere as little desalites of Pre-KG made their way to school on 17th June, 2023. To make this journey more exciting and a happy experience, SFS ICSE and ISC made a special effort to welcome the junior Desalites of Pre-KG through Novello, a new beginning with the theme, I’m unique, I’m special, I am me! . The dazzling kids of UKG escorted Dr. Lakshmi Sravanti, a professional Child Consultant and Adolescent Psychiatrist, the Chief Guest of the day, Rev. Fr. Robin, the Guest of Honour, our dynamic Principal, Rev. Fr. Binoy and the newly elected Head Boy, Rudra Jain and Head Girl, Rihanna Wagh. The program started with an invocation dance gracefully performed by the students of Grade IX followed by the words of welcome well presented by the Junior Desalites of UKG.

Our hearts were elevated with joy with the commencement of the lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries. A marvelous experience with regard to school and teachers were shared by the little champs of UKG. Thereafter, Dr. Lakshmi, the Chief Guest addressed the gathering focusing on how to handle children of this age group patiently and encouraged each parent to prepare for a beautiful future by motivating their children. This was followed by a tremendous performance by the dancing divas of UKG. The energetic teachers of Pre-KG introduced themselves along with the Infirmary in-charge, Student Counselor, Physical Education teacher, Music and Dance teachers. Rev. Fr. Binoy inspired the audience with his gracious thoughts and shared few guidelines to be followed by the parents. The UKG students proffered the words of gratitude to acknowledge the contribution made by all those to make the event a great success.

The programme ended on a positive note with parents much energized and young desalites welcomed in such a blissful yet special way to create the foundation for a greater future.
