Teachers’ Day 2024

‘Mentors to Marvels, Crafting Dreams’

On September 5th, SFS Public School ICSE-ISC celebrated Teachers' Day, honouring our exceptional educators as ‘Mentors to Marvels, Crafting Dreams,’ and recognizing their dedication to shaping the future of their students.

The event commenced with a warm introduction, emphasizing the significance of Teachers' Day and its connection to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered teacher and philosopher. His belief in the transformative power of education continues to inspire us.

A graceful Invocation Dance by the young students set a serene tone for the day, invoking divine blessings. Our Head Boy, Harshit B.P., and Head Girl, Mystica Lijo, delivered a warm Welcome Speech, greeting the dignitaries, teachers, and guests. At the heart of the celebration, the dignitaries and teachers gathered to light the lamp, symbolizing wisdom, knowledge, and the enduring spirit of education.

The Cake Cutting Ceremony added a sweet touch, bringing smiles and a sense of unity. Students performed a vibrant medley of film songs in different languages, which was greatly appreciated by all. This was followed by an energetic Dance Performance by Class XI, capturing the essence of the school journey.

The MC featured small acts that humorously depicted everyday school life and mischievous moments, adding a light-hearted touch. The Grade IX students delivered a showstopping performance, bringing the event to a stylish close.

Our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. T. N. Raju, delivered an inspiring address, offering valuable insights and encouragement. His words resonated deeply with both teachers and students.

The celebration concluded with a thoughtful message from our Principal, Rev. Fr. Binoy John, highlighting the vital role of teachers in shaping young minds, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. Although the program had officially ended, the excitement continued as the student council had planned fun games for the teachers, bringing additional smiles and energy to the occasion.
