"Strong roots, Make beautiful flowers"

Grandparents are the footsteps to the future generation.
Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest story tellers, the keepers of traditions and family’s strong foundation.

To honour them, the Kindergarten section of SFS Public School celebrated grandparent’s day on 15th February 2020.
The function started with welcoming the grandparents followed by prayer song sung by LKG students.

To balance the tone set by the events, we had a game in which grandparents participated with great zeal. The winners were greeted with gifts by the Principal which brought a twinkle in their eyes.
To make the grandparents happier, the school arranged a photo booth with many props to capture the moment and make memories.

Appropriate music and the combination of enthusiastic grandparents made this event a hit. The Principal’s address had all ears adding to the grace of the occasion. The school staff also interacted on a one to one basis with all grandparents. Refreshment was provided to the grandparents. The campus sparkled with the art work by teachers in order to welcome the grandparents.

The general mood was one of exultation and everyone seemed truly happy. It was a successful event indeed, and the school as always would be pleased to organize many such events in future.
