The farewell for the grade 12 of 2019-2020 was held on Saturday 1st February 2020 under the theme “The Golden Dozen (Farewell… Not Goodbye)”. The students of grade 11 conducted the farewell.

The venue for the event was decorated with colourful flowers and lights. The programme commenced at 11a.m with the welcome march. As the students of grade 12 marched in, they were welcomed solemnly by grade11 students.

The programme began with a prayer song followed by the welcome speech. The oath taking ceremony was headed by the principal.

The farewell song and dance put up by the students of grade 11 showcased the fun of school life. To express the love and care towards them, the school presented beautiful mementos to all the outgoing students. The speech given by the class teacher was thought provoking.

The outgoing students shared their beautiful memories. They appreciated the principal and the teachers for guiding them.

Principal Rev. Fr. Jabamalai addressed the outgoing students and emphasized the values which are imparted by SFS to the students must carry with them wherever they go. He hoped that they would be the best citizens of India.

The programme ended with a solemn lunch. The day was a memorable one both for the outgoing batch and the teachers. There was a lot of emotion and nostalgia as students took photographs around the majestic school building where they had spent their childhood.
