‘Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence‘

Melange is a magnificent fiesta to explore the talents of Desalites. Melange 2022-23 ‘Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence’ was held on 30th June 2022, at the school premises of SFS Public School by the students of Grade VI Section A, B & C under the guidance of their class teachers.

Melange 2022-23, was inaugurated by a distinguished Chief Guest, Mrs. Meghana Sundar Raj, a well-known south Indian Actress in presence of the Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr. Vinod Kanattu, the Finance administrator of SFS institution, the Special Invitee, Miss Ankita Kundu, a renowned playback singer, Rev. Fr. Lawrence, Principal of SFS Academy, Rev. Fr. Robin, Finance Administrator of Degree College, and Rev. Fr. Jabamalai, Principal of SFS Public School ICSE & ISC. The inauguration was a moment of awe as the singer Ankita Kundu astounded the audience with her mesmerizing voice singing in several languages.

The competition was held among the students of four Houses, Saturn, Mercury, Neptune and Venus. The carnival included both cultural and literary events. Skit, Dance, Song, Debate, Quiz, Recitation, Extempore, Poetry Slam and Choral Recitation were among the few events conducted. Melange 2022-23 came to its culmination on 1st July, 2022 with prize distribution followed by a declaration of Winners of Melange 2022-23 which was bagged by Venus House and Neptune House was the Runners Up.

Rev. Fr. Jabamalai, our principal appreciated and congratulated the students for their active participation in making Melange a great success. He also appreciated the tireless contribution and involvement of all the animators, teachers, PE Teachers, and the non-teaching staff. The Chief Guest of the Closing ceremony, Rev. Fr. Victor Kujur, Principal of SFS PU College, and the Special Invitee, Rev. Sister Pushpa, Head Mistress of SFS Kannada Medium declared the Melange Meet Closed for the academic year 2022-23. The guests were felicitated by principal and were honoured with mementos for gracing the occasion. The function concluded with National Anthem.
