Kannada Rajyotsava
Kannada Rajyotsava the foundation day of Karnataka was celebrated in our school with great pomp and grandeur. The school wore a festive look with bright colours of red and yellow. The stage decoration reminded us the rich tradition and culture of our motherland. The students of grade V organized the programme with the help of Kannada department. The celebrations created a sense of pride in the minds of audience for being part of a culture that is so rich and vibrant.
The chief guest Mrs Padmini Nagaraj - Professor of Sarala Devi College and a well-known author and poet in Kannada language appreciated the students for their splendid performance and reminded everyone the importance of learning Kannada language.
Ethnic Day
“Diversity makes the world more beautiful.” Students of class I celebrated ethnic day in full pomp and splendour which focused on appreciating different cultures, regions and languages of our country. The gathering was to acknowledge the Indian way of life. Students were in full enthusiasm as they walked in their dazzling, colourful exquisite traditional apparels. The students mesmerized the audience with their folk dances. It was indeed a colourful day for all of us.
