On the pleasant morning of 26th January 2020, SFS ICSE & ISC celebrated 71ST Republic Day in the school premises with the theme “One Nation, One Vision, One Identity…”.  The event began at 8:30 a.m with the prayer song and followed by the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Chief Guest of the day Rev, Fr.Victor Kujur MSFS, principal of SFS PU College. The students, parents and staff took pride in glorifying the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The school echoed with the patriotic fervor as the children of class II A,B,C,D,E,F sang patriotic songs and they even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion.

Rev, Fr.Victor Kujur highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country. Rev, Fr.Victor Kujur expressed his happiness and patriotism by singing the melodious song “Dil Diya Hai Jaan BhiDenge Aye Watan Tere Liye” to grace the occasion.

A heartfelt tribute to the Martyrs, Ceremonial Salute, the harmony of patriotic song and the power of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ soaked everyone at SFS ICSE & ISC with pride and renewed their love for the country. The students, parents and staff departed with a pleasant memory of the day and a smile on their face.
