SHAPATH 2023-24, the investiture ceremony with the theme ‘Dream..Believe.. Achieve..’ was organized on 9th June, 2023. The entire school as well as the revered parents of the elected members were excited to witnessed the crowning of the new leaders. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed dignitaries such as Chief Guest, Mr. H. Sunil Kumar, a Supreme Court Advocate, Rev. Fr. Riju, the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and Rev. Fr. Binoy, the Principal of SFS Public School ICSE & ISC.

The programme commenced with a prayer and the lighting of the lamp followed by hoisting the majestic school flag by the dignitaries. It was a spectacular sight to watch the newly elected proud desalites marching forward to receive their new identity as the office bearers for the academic session 2023-24. The chief guest, Mr. H. Sunil Kumar honoured the student council members with sashes and handed over the badges signifying reliance and confidence that the school consigns upon the new members of student council. Thereafter in unison the student cabinet members took the solemn oath administered by the Principal and pledged their solidarity to uphold the values and in uplifting the honour and glory of the school. The incredibly synchronized march past of the cabinet members with members of all four houses followed by the NCC team and Band group was the focus of attention.

The chief guest addressed the students recalling his fond memories and past experience as a desalite and also congratulated all the new leaders on being vested with power and appealed them to be humble and lead exemplary life to make a difference as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam or Mahatma Gandhi. Rev. Fr. Riju shared his happiness and congratulated the new office bearers which was followed by the acceptance speech delivered by Head Boy Yatesh, and Head Girl, Dia Pant as well as the Junior Head Boy, Virat Valsaraj and Head Girl, Diya S Mekkunnel.

Rev Fr. Binoy also took the opportunity to introduce the ‘I SHARE WE CARE’ programme initiating a welfare programme for society. He appealed the students to contribute and take a step towards noble cause. It was inaugurated at the hands of the chief guest, Mr. H. Sunil Kumar. The programme ended with a vote of thanks rendered by ex- cabinet members Harshith B.P and Mystica Lijo.
